Αγαπητές και αγαπητοί εκπαιδευτικοί αγγλικής γλώσσας,
ως ETAL, σας προσκαλούμε με ιδιαίτερη χαρά στο διήμερο συνέδριο «Innovation and Sustainability» που θα διεξαχθεί στην πόλη μας 22-23 Οκτωβρίου στον χώρο του 4ου Δημοτικού σχολείου.
Είναι μεγάλη τιμή για εμάς να καλωσορίζουμε στην πόλη μας δύο μεγάλους οργανισμούς το TESOL Greece και το TESOL MTH/Northern Greece και να συνδιοργανώνουμε για πρώτη φορά ένα συνέδριο που ενδιαφέρει εξίσου τους εκπαιδευτικούς του δημόσιου και του ιδιωτικού τομέα.
Οι ομιλητές και ομιλήτριες από όλη την Ελλάδα, με τις ενδιαφέρουσες παρουσιάσεις τους και τα πρακτικά workshops καθώς και η έκθεση ξενόγλωσσων εκδόσεων και η συναναστροφή με συναδέλφους, που μπορεί μέχρι τώρα να γνωρίζαμε μόνο διαδικτυακά, θα δημιουργήσουν κλίμα ανταλλαγής καλών πρακτικών και ιδεών για τη διδασκαλία της αγγλικής σε διάφορα επίπεδα.
Φιλοδοξώντας αυτή η σύμπραξη να γίνει θεσμός στην Κεντρική Ελλάδα, ευχόμαστε να μας τιμήσετε με την παρουσία σας συμμετέχοντας ενεργά στην παρακολούθηση του συνεδρίου αλλά και ενδυναμώνοντας τους δεσμούς μεταξύ μας.
Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο σας προσκαλούμε και το Σάββατο βράδυ σε μια βραδιά χαλάρωσης με φαγητό και μουσική στο «Εν Λαρίση». Όσες και όσοι ενδιαφέρεστε παρακαλούμε συμπληρώστε τη σχετική φόρμα πατώντας εδώ. Κόστος συμμετοχής 20 ευρώ κατά άτομο.
Το συνέδριο είναι ανοιχτό σε όλους εφόσον είναι μέλη ενός από τους τρεις οργανωτικούς οργανισμούς. Η εγγραφή ή ανανέωση της συνδρομής σας στον εκάστοτε σύλλογο μπορεί να γίνει είτε ηλεκτρονικά είτε με φυσική παρουσία στον χώρο του συνεδρίου.

On behalf of the ETAL Board, I am very happy to welcome you to the two-day conference titled “Innovation and Sustainability” to be held in Larissa on 22-23 October 2022. This conference establishes our Association’s cooperation with TESOL Greece and TESOL Macedonia-Thrace that started back in 2020. It aims to bring together teachers of English from all over Greece and give them the chance to present and discuss their innovative ideas for a sustainable English Language education. I would like to thank our distinguished speakers for accepting our invitation, our sponsors for their support, and the chairs of TESOL Greece and TESOL Macedonia-Thrace Georgios Chatzis and Maria -Araxi Sachpazian for our fruitful collaboration. We all look forward to a very interesting conference on October 22-23 and can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful city.
For TESOL Greece this is not only the return to out-of-town events, but it also marks a new beginning of collaboration between 3 great teacher associations. It is with great pleasure that the Executive Board of TESOL Macedonia-Thrace, Northern Greece welcomes all of you to this conference in the city of Larisa. After a long period of absence from face-to-face event, it means a lot that we are able to see distinguished professionals presenting on the topic of innovation and sustainability.

The conference is held at the 4th Elementary school of Larissa, 15 - 17, Koumoundourou, Larissa 412 22
Attendance – Registration
• Registration starts at 12:00 on Saturday Oct 22nd and at 9:30 on Sunday Oct 23rd and it is ongoing throughout the event.
• Attendance is free for members of participating associations.
• There are registration desks for each of the participating associations. Teachers who wish to register on-site can do so at the desk of their association.
Evaluation forms – Certificates
A week after the conference please check the email address you registered with for
the Conference evaluation form. You will receive your certificate of attendance
automatically upon completing the evaluation form.

Saturday Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place
on Saturday 22nd of October at 8:30pm
at 'Εν Λαρίση' restaurant, 1 Mitropolitou Dorotheou St.
Alkazar, Larissa, 41447.
The restaurant is a 12-minute (950m) walk from the venue.
The cost is 20€ per person and it includes wine.
COVID Measures
Wearing a mask throughout the duration of the presentations is highly
recommended as crowded indoor places facilitate the spread of Covid. We would
like to ask you to be particularly considerate of those who are vulnerable and run a
high risk of exhibiting severe symptoms from contracting Covid and wear your
masks at all time
